Building plutext-client-2007

Prerequisites

We assume you've set up a  Development Environment for the 2007 Microsoft Office System, including:

• .NET Framework 3.0 (unless you're running Vista)

• Visual Studio 2005

• Microsoft Word 2007

• Visual Studio 2005 Tools Second Edition (unless you're running Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition)

You also need:

•  Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 3.0 for Microsoft .NET (Visual Studio Developer install)

High Level Steps

1. Install subversion client and Cygwin

2. Download the build .proj xml file and run it using MSBuild

3. Open plutext.client.word2007.sln in Visual Studio, then hit F6 to build it

4. Before you run it, alter the security policy

5. Now you can run Word 2007 with the add-in: to do this, hit F5

6. point it at a plutext-server
